Oslo

Will be cutting up to 3000 jobs

Oslo University Hospital is planning to cut between 2000 and 3000 jobs as a consequence of the merger between the Oslo hospitals.
Last year, the process of merging Ullevål, Rikshospitalet and Aker Hospital into one giant hospital was put in motion.

"We have several times asked where we will get the billions we need for this process, but we haven't received an answer", Aasmund Bredeli, union representative for the surgeon generals at Oslo University Hospital says.
