Fewer visits to the bank

Three out of four customers never or very seldom visit their bank. Even the senior customers now do their banking via the Internet, according to a new survey made by TNS Gallup.
Only 25 per cent of Norwegian bank customers visit their bank more than once very six months.
Thirteen per cent of those asked say they never have the need to visit a bank.
At the same time the increased use of Internet banking has led to the closure of 230 branch offices from 2002 to 2010.
