INSPIRING IDEAS FOR CHANGE
The 2011 Oslo Freedom Forum will feature distinguished speakers from across the world who will present on a vast array of topics, from an analysis of some of the world's worst dictatorships, to a look at the impact that a single individual can have on the world around them.
The 2011 Forum will also feature several panels: one will examine the intersection of foreign aid, intervention, and human rights; one will feature a discussion between media innovators from Russia, Egypt, Nicaragua, and Ethiopia on overcoming censorship; and one will be a dialogue on the rapidly growing movement for democracy in the Middle East.
The Freedom Forum will also break new ground and offer a live stream of parts of the 2011 event, and will seek global input through question and answer sessions generated both by audience participation and by user participation on Twitter.
