From May 1,
Norwegian authorities will increase the application fee for some types of
residence permits.
This has been
decided by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.
As a result of the new fee structure, it will cost NOK 500 less for students, au pairs and researchers with own funds to apply for a residence permit, than for workers.
The application fees for permanent residence permits, citizenship, family immigration permits, travel documents and visitors visas will not be changed.
