Stricter airport security control
From Thursday,1st. March 2007, passengers will have to present valid identity cards also on domestic flights before check-in and boarding a plane at Norwegian airports.
If a valid ID card is not presented, one will not be allowed to travel, says Oddmund Sylta of the SAS Ground Services at Bergen Airport Flesland. Up to now, IDs have been required only on international flights.
In addition to passports, a drivers lisence or bank cards are also accepted as valid ID cards at check-in and boarding, NRK reports.
