Fisheries: Røkke returns to Roots

One of Norway's wealthiest men, financier Kjell Inge Røkke, who started out as a fisherman, has bought a shrimp trawler and was this week seen selling fresh shrimps on the Oslo waterfront.

Said the "fisherman from Molde": Why all the fuss! I am just an ordinary shrimp fisherman! - when journalists crowded him on the edge of the dock.

It is Røkke's aim to land his catch at the City Hall pier every Thursday morning, together with the other Oslofjord fishermen.

And it did not seem that the price was a problem. At NOK 70 (USD 12) a kilo, it took only two-and-a-half hours to empty the trays.
