Teen admits posting

threatening video

A 15-year-old boy has admitted that he posted a video on the popular web site "You Tube" that threatened a "massacre" at his school northeast of Oslo. The school remained closed on Monday for security reasons.

Kjenn School in Lørenskog was closed on Monday, even though police found the boy who admitted posting a video threatening a massacre there.

State police quickly pegged the threatening video to the teenager and tracked him down at his home in Lørenskog during the night. He in turn admitted being behind the video that predicted there would be a "massacre" at his school on Monday.

The video featured photos of several teachers at the school.

The principal of Kjenn School in Lørenskog said a teacher home sick had discovered the video "by coincidence" on Sunday, while surfing around the "You Tube" site.

The teacher immediately reported the video and police went to work. They found the address from which the video was posted and were able to apprehend the suspect.

The boy wasn't brought into custody, however, because of his age. He was ordered to appear for questioning at the Lørenskog police station on Monday.
