Strike ends in Oslo, too
Hundreds of public sector workers in Oslo followed colleagues around the country in ending a strike that began 12 days ago.

Like their colleagues, they failed to win any concrete pay hikes, but were promised more money next year.
The strike by school- and pre-school teachers, nurses and physiotherapists was an effort to achieve higher pay and status for traditionally low-paid positions.
Their union, Unio, and city officials started talking again during the night, after Unio's strike elsewhere around the country ended in a settlement on Wednesday.
They entered formal negotiations Thursday and a settlement was announced Thursday afternoon.
"The city of Oslo has committed itself to putting greater value on local salary negotiations, and recognizing the meaning of equal pay and competence," Unio said in a prepared statement.
