Fundo Wheels bankrupt
Fundo Wheels at Hoeyanger, maker of tire rims for European auto makers has been declared bankrupt, mainly due to the global financial crisis, and 350 workers will most likely lose their jobs.
Fundo Wheels have developed and manufactured aluminum tire rims for auto makers Volvo, Saab, Audi, VW, og BMW.
The owners are still looking for fresh capital, and according to NRK, the DnB NOR bank has secured operations for another month, in order to complete orders to Volvo and Audi.
