A man carries giant mineral water bottles filled with petrol along Mkunguni Street in downtown Dar es Salaam yesterday, most probably to stash them somewhere `safe` as a precaution against the possibility of more acute shortages of the crucial commodity in days to come. According to reports, the crippling fuel shortage that hit many parts of the country this week had by yesterday started to ease with the ongoing offloading of new supplies at the Dar es Salaam port.
