Embassy letter contained

tear gas




The threatening letter adressed to the Israeli Embassy in Oslo, and which led to the hospitalization of two postal employees, contained tear gas in powder form, according to the police.

The letter has been examined by the Police Security Branch (PST), which has confirmed that the envelope contained CS tear gas.

- We have determined that the letter contained CS gas, but we will continue the investigations, says PST information spokesman Martin Berntsen.

It is still not known who sent the letter, but according to earlier reports it is believed it was posted in Oslo
