A cross-section of the Kipawa area community in Ilala District listens anxiously to the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Abbas Kandoro, as he briefed them yesterday on the government`s plan to resettle them elsewhere so as to pave the way for the expansion of the Julius Nyerere International Airport. RC Kandoro apparently had to intervene after the Kipawa residents had decided to literally set up camp outside the city offices of the Tanzania Airport Authority (TAA), which has been given the task of implementing the plan.
