Negotiations over
pensions continue
Negotiations over new regulations for public service pensions in Norway, will contine for at least one more week. This was decided in a meeting between the two sides and the Minister of Labour on Wednesday.
This is a unique situation, according to the official arbitrator, Nils Dalseide. But then, never before has the issue been this complex and had such long term consequenses, he says.
The deadline for reaching a settlement was originally set for Tuesday morning, and then postponed for 24 hours.
