The Story Behind the Man
I was shocked (Wednesday) when one of the great thinkers claimed that the ongoing clashes between Mengi Reginald and Rostam Aziz and his partners is tirbal fight involving Chagas and Lake Zone (Sukuma and Nyamwezi tribes).
That Lake Zone will always rally behind Rostam at any cost because he is their true son. This is funny and bullshit. God forbid, I am from Lake Zone regions and so does Mwanakijiji, we are not ready to support anybody under the grounds of tribalism. We are not ready to be dragged in the tribal sentiments by those who benefited from the looted billions.
By the way who is Rostam? He is mercenary who came to this country from Iran at the age of 22 to visit his uncle who was trading on buying and exporting hides. He stayed there in Igunga, learnt the local language including swahili as well as politics, before officially jumping into the bandwagon of parliament in 1994 after the death of Charles Kabeho.
Having inherited his uncle's business, Rostam rose as a trader trading in hides (Ngozi) before forming a road construction company called Capsian which he used to conduct shoddy business, and earned billions. This company failed to deliver according to the agreed standards in Mafia, Mwanza, Dar es Salaam, forcing Magufuli who was by then minister for works to suspend payments worth billions. That's why soon after Kikwete won the election, while Rostam and Lowassa acquired Habari Corporation, Muhingo Rweyemamu was given a special assignment to deal with the so called corrupt deals in government owned houses.
If you guys remember, Rai newspaper serialised damning articles about Magufuli in a calculated bid aimed at politically victimising him as well as reducing his popularity which was a threat to a much hurried man-Lowassa. But the funny thing is that while Rai was busy attacking Magufuli, Mr. Muhingo didn't bother to ask his boss (Rostam) how did he acquire his home in Dar while he wasn't the government's worker or civil servant.
If Mengi is misusing his media, please would you tell who is the media owner in this country who has not used his media for his personal interests? Toni Diallo? The Late Nyaulawa? Prince Aghakhan? Rostam? Tanil Somaiya? Subhash Patel? No one.

I have carefully read the last words written by Dr. Ballali before he died in US last year and my conclusion is very simple: Rostam is a shark through Kagoda. He pocketed Sh40billion using CCM campaign as a front or a shield.
"Rais Mkapa akaniita pale Ikulu akaniambia Kampe Rostam pesa ili Malaika aweze kushinda uchaguzi... Nikajibu kwamba pale benki kuu hakuna fedha labda zile za account ya madeni lakini itabidi wafuate utaratibu" DR. Ballali.
"Nikakaa na Rostam nikampa utaratibu na kumtambulisha kwa ndugu Maregesi ili amsaidie kusajili kampuni ya Kagoda... Kwa kuhofia bomu kulipuka nikashauri waingizwe na wengine wengi kwa masharti ya kuchangia Chama asilimia 40 ya malipo... Lengo lilikuwa ni kufanya ionekane kama serikali kwa wakati huo iliamua kulipa madeni." Dr. Ballali.
Now this is just the version of the dossier by Dr. Ballali where he strongly revealed how Rostam swindled the billions. The party was given only Sh10billion.
In conducting all bank transactions, Rostam used his personal secretary Tabu Abdulah as a cover-up. There's all evidence.
I am ending here but very soon I will reveal all things about Rostam.
