Of the 4.85 million persons living in Norway at the end of last year, 333,900 or nearly seven per cent were foreign citizens, according to fresh figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).
The number of foreign citizens living in Norway increased by 10 per cent last year, SSB reports.
Polish citizens make up the larges group, with a total of 46,700 persons, ahead of Swedes and Germans, with 35,800 and 20,800 persons respectively.
According to SSB, 66 per cent of the aliens living in Norway held European citizenship.
