Family immigration: You can now use the income tax form to document financial support

If the income of the person that you are applying for family immigration with was too low in 2009, you can now add the income tax form for 2010.

In order for you to be granted family immigration, the person living in Norway (the sponsor) must be able to provide financial support and housing (salary grade eight in the pay scale for Norwegian state employees, NOK 225 400). This can be documented by enclosing the latest tax certificate, but until the tax certificate for 2010 is ready, we now also accept the income tax form for 2010.

If the person living in Norway had a registered income corresponding to salary grade eight in the pay scale for Norwegian state employees in 2009 (at the time NOK 217 600), and you have already documented this, you do not need to do anything.
