Three people were killed in bus hijacking in Årdal Monday night. The man who hijacked the bus, is arrested and sent to hospital. The man is an asylum-seeker from South Sudan.
Police Leader Magne Knudsen at the local police confirmed tothe newspaper Sogn Avis that there are three fatalities. After the local newspaper has learned has the perpetrator inflicted the three people who were on board the bus,with comprehensive needlestick injury with a knife.
- Three people are confirmed dead. We have no information about others to be injured, said police prosecutor Jørn Lasse Refsnes to NRK.no.
There were crews from the fire department who arrested the man in the bus. The arrested was armed with a knife.
