Kenya Bans Tanzanian Tour Operators From Its Parks, Airports (K24 Kenya) - 6th February 2015

A diplomatic row is brewing between Kenya and Tanzania after Nairobi withdrew a three-week reprieve for Tanzanian tour operators to access the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This is after talks between the two countries failed to broker an agreement on a 1985 bilateral agreement which prevents tour vans from both countries from accessing national parks and airports on either side. And as Salome Muiruri reports, the latest spat between the two neighbours poses a fresh threat to the east african community integration process.
