On September 1st, Norway will have a new university, when Agder University College will be given status as a full fledged university.
The college applied for university status in December 2005.
- The Agder University College has shown that it is among the foremost in the country. It now has five doctorate study programs, says Education Minister Oeystein Djupedal.
The Agder University, Norway's seventh, is located in Kristiansand and Grimstad.
