Norway: Surprise closure of six airports

After Norwegian air space had been open to normal traffic for more than 24 hours, six airports in Western Norway were again closed Thursday morning, due to freak winds blowing more volcanic ash into the area.
This means that the airports at Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, Florø, Førde and Stord are agains closed to all traffic.
It also means that all air traffic to the offshore oil platforms in the North Sea has been stopped.
The rest of Norwegian air space is open to normal air traffic, according to the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (AVINOR).
