Bad weather hits
suddenly
A surprise hit of bad weather was paralyzing the Hordaland area, in the south-western part of Norway yesterday afternoon.

Police were advising people to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary.
First came snow, and after that came rain, making the roads especially slippery.
However, the bus and taxi drivers say the worst is over now.
No major accidents have been reported so far.
