Seven criminal networks uncovered
Norwegian police have unravelled seven East European criminal networks over the past year in the county of Vestfold alone, after investigators were permitted to disregard precinct borders.
Police Director Ingelin Killengren is of the opinion that the police must become better at cooperating, in order to catch the travelling East European criminal gangs.
Together with the Public Prosecutor's Office she promises to introduce new measures against crime.
- We will introduce new guidelines and measures, and we will do so quite quickly, she says to NRK.
