Kyela MP Harrison Mwakyembe yesterday denounced as disrespectful the Zanzibari ministers who have told off Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda over his stand on Isles' status.
The outspoken CCM lawmaker, who is a lawyer, told Parliament in Dodoma that the recent controversy over whether Zanzibar is a sovereign state or not was uncalled for "as there is no constitutional crisis".
He said the ministers who had engaged Premier Pinda in arguments on the sovereignty issue, had merely shown their lack of respect for their leader by needlessly fuelling the debate on the matter.
