Easy Friday:
Nape, this is
CCM you didn’t
recognize
SIMON MKINA
DAR ES SALAAM
THANK you, Nape Nnauye, for daring CCM’s big fish in the open. Thank you for going against party’s hypocrisy. Thank you for expressing yourself like true tiGo customers. Thank you again and again.
You know what? When you want to stay long in the CCM circles you must be like a pye-dog. You should bow anytime for anything even if you are not agreeing with whatever is said or presented.
In CCM you don’t have to say anything against your leaders. Don’t dare pointing fingers at big fish although some of them are ’fisadis’ or even hooligans.
The bigger the hypocrite you become the longer is your stay in CCM, jokingly paraphrased ’Chukua Chako Mapema.’ Should your stand be to the contrary of that mindset or habit then you have to look for another way to have your political niche. Or otherwise live without any affiliation to this merrymaking organization.
But mind you, personally I belong to Nyerere’s CCM that still exists somewhere in our land.
Nape, you must remember that we seem to be a headless nation, in which the politics of dying for the leader as the ancient Romans said: ’Suaviter ET decorum est pro patria mori’ instead of ideals that have gained ground.
Almost everyone out there; in some top ranks are those who devour those at the bottom. When I conceptualize the way Nyerere is being remembered within the party he brought honour, I lose hope and becomes mad on how some CCM - Nazis are using and abusing the good name of Mwalimu Nyerere.
CCM is very much far away in knowing that our nation deserves new ideals for true economic and social liberation; alternative ideals to the disabling lies of the Richmond saga, military radar dubious deals, IPTL and the EPA stuff. Those tainted covenants that are chewing our country’s wealth leaving our lives in a shambles threatened by death left, right and centre.
Thank you chairman JK for showing that the party you lead is full of those ’wachumia tumbo’ we are fighting to kick away. Those hooligans are busy ’chasing’ away young ideas and who don´t want any injection of deserved openness.
Every single right-thinking Tanzanian knows that our country is sliding along a political road to nowhere. Our national politics as practised by the ruling party and parties outside government is driven by the desire to rule for the sake of the stomach. Full stop. Period. Basi.
Now CCM needs more new ideals and ideas that never existed before to make it regain its supremacy and the credibility it deserves.
It is ridiculous that when you challenge any big fish in CCM you are taken to task to answer what are described as stupid questions before whatsoever meetings.
The thing is, after spitting fire on the untouchables in the party, your name is written in the ’black book’ that one Yusuf Makamba keeps for future reference. That when you dare looking for a post within CCM’s walls your head bumps on unseen obstacles and you automatically retreat.
I know those in that book. Nape has just joined Anna Kilango Malecela, Aloyce Kimaro, Thomas Nyimbo and one Simon Mkina. These are the people who are nicknamed stubborn. Not needed in the party. That they are disturbing the party habit of protecting each other no matter what stupid or sinful a big potato has done to pollute the entire nation.
But I encourage Nape and the fellows in the book (room is still there for more and more) not to fear anything. Tanzania is, after all, for all just like CCM is for all as the opposition is just there to complement the CCM for whatever is doing.
Our country cries out for clear-headed leaders of the likes of Nyerere whom I understood better after having a 27-minute talk some years ago in Butiama and I keep on reading his writings and books.
’A luta continua’, the Makonde freedom fighters cried when they were fighting the Portuguese colonialists. Now we have to bear the same.
