A FORMER lawyer for the Tanzanian national accused of involvement in the 1998 bombings of American embassies in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi has alleged that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and other US government departments blocked access to his client in the Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba.

Attorney Scott Fenstermaker specifically blamed the US Justice and Defence Departments and the CIA for keeping him from seeing Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani for 19 months and for returning 40 legal lettersmore>>>>>
