Alpharadin is Algeta¿s lead cancer therapeutic and has recently been partnered with Bayer. It is the first in a new class of alpha-emitting pharmaceuticals (`alpha-pharmaceutical¿) based on radium-223 and is currently in phase III of development. Alpharadin is a targeted treatment for bone metastases and has a unique mode of action whereby it targets bone metastases specifically and exerts a highly localized effect on tumor cells while minimizing damage to normal surrounding tissues.

Algeta currently employs 40 highly qualified workers and are located in modern offices at Kjelsås in Oslo. Due to increased activity, Algeta needs to strengthen the clinical department with a:

Clinical Research Manager


Responsibilities:
- All aspects of planning, initiation, conduct and completion of international clinical trials phase I-III in close cooperation with contract research organisations (CROs)
- Development of clinical documents ¿ also for regulatory authorities
- Collaboration with investigators and advisors
- Reporting and publishing of clinical data

Preferred background:
- University degree or similar in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences
- 3-5 years experience with all aspects of project management of international clinical trials
- Knowledge within oncology and/or radiopharmaceuticals will be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Requirements:
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
- Organised, and capable of clear communication
- Ability to take initiative and have a problem solving nature
- Committed and able to work under time pressure
- Ability to travel and adaptive to changing working environments
