Help us to provide better Internet pages

We are user testing UDI.no!  We need volunteers to participate in focus groups. If you have ideas about how our Internet pages function – and not least how they can be improved – please continue reading.

Everyone who participates in focus groups will receive a gift voucher as a thank-you for their help. You must be able to speak either Norwegian or English.

What does it mean to participate in focus group? 

Firstly – you are anonymous. Participation won’t have any significance for any applications you or others have with us. An external and professional company will hold the focus groups for us. You will meet at the office of Moods Research in Fredensborgveien 32 and, together with five or six others, will participate in conversations and discussions regarding UDI.no.  Here we would like to have your honest opinion and also good ideas / proposals for how the pages can be improved. In the group we emphasise  an informal atmosphere where everyone can put forward their contributions. 

It will take about two hours, and when you are finished, you will receive a gift voucher worth Norwegian kroner 500 as a thank-you for your help.  

We shall hold four focus groups, and we have chosen four themes. In that way, everyone who participates in the groups will have similar needs.  Look and see if you are among those we are looking for:

Focus group for skilled workers

In this group we want the person who has applied for, or gone through the application process for, a residence permit as a skilled worker or skilled job seeker.  You must have completed the application process for a residence permit  yourself, that is to say, have experience with our Internet pages.

Focus group on family immigration

In this group we want  the person who is applying for, or has applied for family immigration – either you are in Norway or applying to come to Norway. The most important thing is that you have used our Internet pages and know the process.

This group is for employers and industries who have completed the process regarding work and residence permit. You must have used our Internet pages to find information.

Focus group on citizenship

In this group we want the person who has applied for, been granted citizenship, or whose application has been rejected. You must have used UDI.no Internet pages to find information.

Participate in the Internet survey

We will also do a large Internet-based survey. Everyone can participate here. This will also be completely anonymous. We will place links to this when it is ready. 

The goal of the user survey is to obtain greater insight into how the users – primarily applicants – relate to the present Internet pages and what they would like from the new UDI.no. We shall use the analysis to improve our Internet pages.
