Except for asylum seekers, almost all our users register you application for a visa, residence permit and citizenship on the Internet through the Application Portal Norway.
You can register your applicatioin independently of opening hours, make an online appointment to deliver relevant documents to the police or an embassy, avoid having to wait in line at the police station or embassy, and you can pay the application fee online.
The application is formally registered on the date you have submitted all relevant documentation at the police station or the Norwegian Embassy/Consulate.
In some countries, Norway cooperates with the Swedish and Danish embassies and consulates who accept applications for Norwegian residence permit. In these countries, you cannot use the Application Portal Norway.
