The Crown Prince Children will start at private schools this fall. Princess Ingrid Alexandra begins at Oslo International School and Prince Sverre Magnus will sart at the Montessori School in Oslo.

Tuesday, it was announced that Princess Ingrid Alexandra (10) and Prince Sverre Magnus (8) switches from school Jansløkka Asker to Oslo International School (OIS) on Bekkestua and the Montessori School school. These schools are private schools; OIS is one of the most expensive in the country, while Montessori School gets state aid. Unio leader Anders Folkestad is critical.

- The royal couple has shown an active community involvement, and in that context it is natural to ask if they have thought about the signals they send out, says Unio leader Anders Folkestad.

He points out that this may signal that private schools are better than public, that one must go to an international school to learn English and that it is okay to transport children to schools far from their local environment.
