NORWAY - The threat preparedness is called off - Police Security Service (PST) confirms that the threat response will be scaled down to the same level as before the response was intensified last week.

PST's assessment that it has not been possible to produce additional information that supports the specific threat against Norway. The police will therefore continue its reduction of the increased response to a level in line with the PST's last general threat assessment from February 2014. 

The emergency response was elevated Thursday last week because data indicated that there was a specific and time-limited threat against Norway. - It is the total information picture that now suggests that this is not going to happen, says PST chief Benedicte Bjørnland.
