Latest Poll: Conservatives edge past Progress Party

In the last TNS Gallup prior to Monday's municipal elections, the Conservative Party (Hoyre) moves past the right wing Progress Party to become the nation's second largest party. The Labour Party is still the largest.


The voters are still leaving the Socialist Left Party, according to the TNS poll.

The latest results from TNS Gallup:

Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet) 29.0 (-0.5)

Conservative (Høyre) 18.5 (+1.5)

Progress Party (Fremskrittspartiet) 18.2 (-0.3)

Socialist Left (Sosialistpartiet) 8.5 (-0.3)

Agrarians (Senterpartiet) 7.4 (+0.6)

Christian Democratic (Kristelig folkepartiet) 6.2 (+0.2)

Liberal Left (Venstre) 5.1 (-1.4)

Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation(NRK)/ Rolleiv Solholm (Norway Post)
