Jonas Gahr Stoere .Norway's Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere says he regrets President Pervez Musharraf's introduction of a state of emergency in Pakistan.
Stoere says it is paticularly regretable when it interfers directly with the system of justice and the independence of the media.
- It always serious when normal democratic rules are set aside. In cooperation with other nations, we will try to work for Pakistan to hold parliamentary elections as planned, Stoere says.
