Bank on strike
WORKERS of the National Microfinance Bank (NMB) went on strike yesterday over benefits as the bank’s management sought court action against union leaders for organizing an ’illegal’ boycott.
A client of the National Microfinance Bank tries her lucky to get cash from an Automated Teller Machine at the Bank House Branch in Dar es Salaam yesterday although there is a warning that the machine is out of service. NMB operations were yesterday paralysed as workers went on a countrywide strike over pay demands.
