Eritrean Football Team dissapears

in KENYA as Tanzanian girls nabbed



Just moments after a disastrous defeat by Taifa Stars in the CECAFA champions which ended in Nairobi on Sunday,12 members of the Eritrean National Team have gone into hiding in Nairobi.

Eritrean Embassy in Nairobi confirmed yesterday that out of 20 member team which was in Nairobi,only 8 Members left Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for Asmara on Sunday.He blamed the team members saying that one cannot run from his country no matter how poor it is.

A crisis meeting by senior security officers from Intelligence house met last evening with officers from the immigration ministry to strategize on how to nub the team members.Its also said that over 85 agents from NSIS (National Security Intelligence Service) were called in to help the police to track the team members.

In a related incident, Police in Mombasa bounced on 17 Tanzanian girls who were being smuggled to Kenya with promise of better house help jobs.The 17 with age from 12 to 23 were nabbed as they waited or their agent to book them into Nairobi bound buses.Detectives stage managed the arrest for several hours as they laid the dragnet at the bus termini for the agent to show up...but the agent never turned up.The girls who spoke to the media said they were promised better jobs which pay up to Ksh.25000 in lavish suburbs in Nairobi.

Latter in the evening,the police Airwing airlifted several officers to the Tanzanian border after reports emerged that more girls were on the way from Tanzania.The girls are being locked up at Mombasa Central Police station waiting for trial in court latter today
